We offer compelling, educational and service experiences for students, recent graduates and professionals as volunteers in our Oakland office. You will have the opportunity to work in a professional setting with a talented group of individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of family farmers and workers around the world. Volunteers who can meet the more substantial time commitment of an internship can access a diverse array of projects and assignments that complement educational curriculum in a variety of areas. Recent college graduates and transitioning professionals are also welcome to apply. Most of our internship positions require a minimum of 15 hours per week for 10 weeks. Some positions require a more or less hours or weeks depending on the complexity of the project or assignment. Open Positions

  • This position is responsible for increasing our positive impact on farming families and the environment by growing sales of Fair Trade Certified™ produce, floral and wine. To do this, the Account Specialist will work with multiple points in the supply chain, particularly importers and retailers. This position’s primary focus is to grow sales of Fair Trade Certified fresh produce. This position has primary responsibility for the wine & spirits category: supporting strategy development, understanding supply and policy, and growing sales. This position also provides key support to the floral category, contributing to strategy, managing importer accounts, and supporting retailers.
